Home Building Schedule
Any building project needs a schedule if order and correct planning is to be maintained throughout
the job on site. The main contractor will normally provide the home building schedule being part of a standard
building contract or terms and conditions of the job specification.
All homeowners are advised to request a house building schedule from their builders if only to gauge the
progress of the works during the contract period in order to forecast any slippage's or delays.
A home building schedule does not need to be a complicated document as a simple bar chart will suffice with
relevant headers or outline descriptions of each work stage against a time line graph.
