What is 'The
Edge'?
We would love lower insurance bills, cheaper accessories, clothing and
spares, access to the best events and better opportunities to get more out
of our bikes.
Biking is about enjoying the good times and excitement, but also about
avoiding the expense and misery from crashing or losing your licence. We
all know the down-side
crashed and stolen bikes mean ever-rising insurance
and repair costs. Getting involved in an accident (your fault or not) or
having your bike stolen, means time spent trying to sort the mess out, time
you could have spent riding instead so why not get The Edge over the
people who can seriously damage your biking fun?
Backed by some of the biggest names in motorcycling. The idea behind
The Edge is very simple. With the help of the motorcycle industry, we've
been able to bring together insurance providers, manufacturers and suppliers
of all that's best in biking. To benefit from all the goodies on offer, all
you need to do is show us that you can keep yourself and your bike out of
the theft and casualty statistics by passing an assessment of your
skills.
'The Edge' is a non profit making programme established and managed
by the Rider Development Research Foundation (RDRF) and supported by the
Motorcycle Industry Association.
